I doubt I will ever see a sunset again quite like this one. When I look at this painting I think about the extraordinary depth between the objects that make it up. The Sun, millions of miles away, showed clearly through the clouds, which too were miles away from the shoreline. Even though the sky was filled with warm colors, blue from the sky behind me gave the scene the cool ambience.
